At Toolbox Anonymous , we ship fast, cut bloat aggressively, and keep you posted on every architectural change in NeoSpaxe.
v2.0.0 — The CI-Native Engine Rewrite (Current)
We asked a simple question: Why should developers have to log into a separate SaaS web dashboard, migrate their IaC, or hand over AWS IAM credentials just to spin up a branch preview?
With NeoSpaxe v2.0, we deleted the hosted web console and the polling runner daemon completely and rebuilt NeoSpaxe as a pure, zero-trust black-box container (ghcr.io/toolboxanonymous/neospaxe-engine:latest) that executes directly inside the CI runner you already trust.
What’s New in v2.0
- Zero-Trust CI Execution: Runs natively inside GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Bitbucket Pipelines. Your
AWS_ACCESS_KEY_IDandAWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEYnever leave your CI environment. - Black-Box Workload Auto-Detection: No need to adopt a new IaC tool. The engine inspects your repository at deploy time and automatically synthesizes an isolated AWS architecture—
S3 + CloudFront(for Next.js, Astro, and Vite),ECS Fargate(forDockerfileand.csprojrepos), or serverlessLambda + API Gateway—without touching your existing production setup. - Stage Guardrails: Hardened stage-name validation (
^[a-z][a-z0-9-]{0,39}$) and automatic blocking of reserved environment names (production, prod, staging, stage, develop, dev, main, master) before any cloud provisioning runs. - 20-Second Heartbeats & Silence Recovery: Long-running CloudFront and Fargate provisions heartbeat every 20 seconds, with automatic handling for cancelled builds vs. 15-minute runner silence.
- Secret Leak Prevention: Built-in stdout inspection refuses to print output if your
NEOSPAXE_LICENSE_KEYor internal operation token ever appears in a log buffer. - Single-Offer Ledger Billing: Simplified pricing to one transparent model via Dodo Payments—a 30-day free trial (up to 20 concurrent previews, no card required), followed by
$0.20/hractive runtime and$20per new stack life (+$10when NeoSpaxe auto-synthesizes your deployment blueprint).
v1.0.0 — Blueprint Console & Polling Runner (Archived)
- Original release featuring a browser-based stack topology canvas and a self-hosted polling runner container.
- Status: Deprecated and removed in v2.0.0 in favor of direct CI execution (
ghcr.io/toolboxanonymous/neospaxe-engine:latest). No browser login or persistent polling container is required anymore.
